As we work towards better understanding consumer habits, we at Eureka Surveys decided to delve into an interesting topic - the frequency of returning clothes purchased online. The revelations from this poll hold certain surprises, and a fair share of expected outcomes. But, as always, there is more than meets the eye.

With the ever-growing reliance on the internet, online shopping has seen an unprecedented boom in the recent years. This surge has been propelled by the convenience offered by the online platforms where one can shop from the comfort of one's own home. However, the results of our poll show that the 'returning' side of this online shopping story can be a bit of a challenge for many.

Online Returns - A Mixed Bag of Habits

According to our survey, it seems that there is a mix in the return habits among online shoppers. A significant percentage indicated 'Rarely' and 'Occasionally' as their frequency of returning, suggesting an overall satisfaction with purchases, or perhaps a reluctance to go through the return process. But, there's also a healthy chunk of respondents who admitted they 'Very often' return their online clothes purchases. This could indicate issues with sizing, fabric quality or simply mismatch between the online presentation and the actual product.

Interestingly, a number of survey participants stated they 'Never' return their online clothes purchases. Could this infer a super power of always making the right clothing choices? Or maybe it reflects a demographic who opts to repurpose or donate unwanted purchases instead of returning them. Then there were participants who stated they 'Don't Shop for Clothes Online'. This result reminds us that despite the online shopping boom, the traditional brick and mortar shops still hold their charm for many consumers.
